Free Skipping is an on-going event created in association with the Toronto School of Creativity and Inquiry for their Fall 2007 exhibition Potential Toronto at the The Toronto Free Gallery. Mammalian Diving Reflex is part of the Children's Pod, a group of artists and activists who are interested in the place of children in the city. In a response to the lack of informal avenues to interact with children, the group is spending the summer exploring ways to achieve this outside of institutional forms. First up was Free Skipping, offered to children and adults alike in various locations around the city. Other activities soon to follow. |
